I have a question about the EDSA revolution?
What exactly did that revolution accomplish? Are Filipinos better off now than before the revolution? I don't think so. Back then there were only a handful of thieves. Now everyone is a thief, including your lola. Back then, the people had dignity. Now the Filipino people are slaves of other nations. I heard Manila was clean and orderly during the dictatorship, unlike the chaotic sewer it is today. And please don't say you had less freedom back then, that's so lame. Unless of course if you mean you had less freedom to steal and cheat from your own kind, that I would understand.

- obviously you were not here then, and don't know nothing about us now.
- Don't ask if you already have made up your mind what the revolution did to our lives Filipinos. No matter what we tell you I doubt if you will believe us and it looks like you don't even know what you are talking about...racist! I'll quote what you said,"Now everyone is a thief, including your lola. Back then, the people had dignity..."---whereever dog hole you came from, you can never generalize an entire nation like the Philippines not even every Filipino people who are working hard to save this country. Don't you know the english for "lola" is grandmother. Anyways, you must be one of those impostors out there who despise herself being a Filipino.get real!
- Don't you ever judge Filipinos, you obviously do not know Filipino history and culture that well. All you just heard about "Manila was clean and orderly during the dictatorship." Probably you have ever heard of the following during the Marcos years: -massive government debt -massive political opression -massive government censorship -massive gagging of news media -massive cronyism -massive white elephant and mothballed projects (Manila Film Center, Bataan Nuclear Power Plant, etc.) -massive sequestration of private businesses
- I totally agree with you.. on some points and not all. Yes, we did accopmlish a lot of things for the first EDSA. it was a milestone which other countries tried to copy.. BUT.. EDSA2 and 3 and 4??? Are you kidding me?... Imperial Manila has been always doing EDSA.. now, they think EDSA2 was wrong. so they want another EDSA3 or 4.. then the priests and nuns.. come on, guys... how many edsas do we have to do before we all realize that its not the president!! ... It's our system which has been so used to corruption that it cant live without it! ... and the system includes the president.. why is imperial manila so ..so.. i dont know.. stupid?!.. they have always been wanting to have EDSA like EDSA is a game or another milestone.. are you kidding me? .. filipinos outside manila are sick of EDSA-by-manilenos-not-filipinos thing.. Filipinos out here think the problem is the system and not one person alone!..God?! Imperialist manila, wake up! .. You were supposed to ridicule us but it seems we are far more critical thinkers.. go ahead.. make EDSA 4 .. make a mistake and then, make EDSA 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.......nth.. We want a system to be changed!
- it is like that because gloria is an evil person who grew up as a child in malacanang and therefore with a sense of entitlement to power and all its perks. she had an unhappy childhood being a member of the second family of her father and was therefore very insecure as shown by her present actuations, plus she was not really cinderella but more like the ugly duckling. she must have idolized marcos or at least powerful people and herself admitted to liking being a strict teacher. also she never joined edsa1 and not even edsa 2. she was hiding out in a hotel waiting for the people to win the presidency for her. she is an evil perosn who lies ( remember her ' i wont seek the presidency ' ) and now continues to lie ( 'i will step down from the presidency in 2010 ). all people behind her and supporting her are benefitting from her presidency whether they admit it or not and they are just as evil as her for turning a blind eye to the things going on.
