Which summary is better out of these two and which one would make you want to read the story? Why, if you can.

What would you do if you were being chased for witnessing a murder? Serenity’s life has always been set in turmoil ever since her father accepted a job offer more than a decade ago. A job offer that required them to move constantly. Now, after relocating to Lexington, Missouri, she’s trying to get everything back in order beginning with her neurotic mother. All of that takes a back-seat though when she is foisted into becoming Roy’s partner—an enigmatically intriguing classmate with whom she’s had a scintilla of a crush on. Things continue to go haywire as she gets pulled more and more into his world, leading her up to seeing him murder a man they both knew. Now as they run away from what Roy is and the truth, Serenity’s world begins to collapse devouring everyone in its wake. She must fight twice as hard, if not harder, to stay ahead of the game and remain alive against their indomitable enemies. Serenity, a high school junior, has seen more then enough of her share of tears throughout the decade of her father’s career. Now as the nights pass by her life continues to get more and more chaotic as her mother’s depression threatens to untie her sanity and unravel her teenage hood. The situation only promises to grow worse as she becomes partners with one of the “bad boys” at school--Roy--a quiet, impenetrable engima. Is he a bad boy or is he just misunderstood? She comes across the answer while stuck with him after getting hurt in a volleyball accident. The surprise is enough to send her life into more havoc. The only solution is to remove Roy out of her life, but as her emotions take lead, she vows to find some other way out of the mayhem they created.

  3. serenity, chaos. we get it. cliche. nothing jumps out as being overly brilliant and they're very long. get to the point- short and sweet.
