- GantZ, it's got the twist on reality while still keeping the characters very real to how they would react when affronted with such an odd situation
- either bleach or naruto there both pretty good
- there is too many to choose from. my faves are peacemaker, samurai x, fruits basket, love hina, samurai 7 and the list goes on....
- Hellsing is the best series ever!! Akira is a rad moive and VASH the Stampede is probably one of the best characters...

- There are basically 3 anime most otaku consider to be the peak of the art form, and have had the greatest influence on, and greatest popularity with, animators and fans: Neon Genesis Evangelion (mid 90s) Cowboy Bebop (late 90s) Fullmetal Alchemist (mid 00s)
- Best movie - tie Grave of the fireflys & Castle in the Sky Laputa Best TV serious - Macross, Kimagure Orange Road & Maison Ikkoku Best OVA - Giant Robo, Battle Angel Alita & Gantz (agree with the earlier poster – Gantz is great)
- Best movie- Princess Mononoke or Grave of the Fireflies Best Show- Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
- I won't suggest Bleach as its ongoing so who knows how it may be viewed once its finished. The same applies for Naruto therefore but I think its way overated (the amount of times I'd wait all week to download and then the episode would only have 8 mins of original content - the rest flashbacks) IMO the best finished projects: Death Note (discounting special due out soon) Samurai X -truth & betrayal Excel Saga Akira Ghost in the Shell Samurai Champloo Cowboy Beebop If pushed then I'd say the only anime which has entertained me as much as Bleach is Excel Saga - here lies my vote

- i'm sorry i have been into anime forever and my favorite after twenty som years i have to say the anime that grabbed me and got me back into anime again would have to be Ninja Scroll !!!!!
- lol,I'm not reading that whole list. But 4 now my fav is Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star.
- My favorites are Bleach, Naruto, and Full Metal Alchemist. They are all really good so it's hard to choose which one is the best.
- Well, its hard to say since I've been watching anime for 15+ yrs. Some of the old stuff is still so great. Some oldies but goodies: Akira Battle Angel Alita Ninja Scroll Vampire Hunter D (the art isn't great by today's standards, but this was awesome 15+ yrs ago) Samurai X/Ruroni Kenshin Some good newer stuff: Trinity Blood Samurai Champloo Claymore Ah My Goddess (newer TV series) Black Lagoon and of course...Bleach and Naruto For my fave, it would have to be a tie btw Ninja Scroll and Battle Angel Alita
